It ain’t that different.

Published on October 16, 2012 by in TheBlog

Still in the process of rebuilding the site.  It almost looks like it did the last time that you saw it fully intact, plus/minus a few things here and there.  The Photo Gallery is completely messed, so don’t even bother.  I’ll be rebuilding that.  New plugin.  Not as many ads.  Not nearly as obtrusive. New

I’m becoming an Interwebz™ terminal.

Published on January 29, 2012 by in TheBlog

Just.  Wow. Suddenly there’s new traffic over here.  What the..?  Oh right.  E/N Mk II has taken full effect. The Blogroll has increased, in case you haven’t noticed.  Courtesy of Stacy, I now know I’m not done.  There are more to add. I wonder if this is how bands who’ve broken up feel when they

The E/N Time Warp

Published on January 27, 2012 by in TheBlog

It started all simple enough.  Our interwebz pal Joey Michaels writes a reflective post on the old E/N scene, waxes nostalgic, everything’s all nice-nice.  Then.. someone has to go and create a Facebook group. Invite Only. Very exclusive.  You understand. Joey obviously gets invited, and so he invites me.  Invites get handed out all over

Sharing is hard.

Published on October 14, 2011 by in TheBlog

This social media thing is an interesting beast.  Who would have thought the whole act of getting people to share something would be so difficult? Before I continue, I want to preface this with a statement about me not being angry or bitter with what transpired.  I’m just making an observation.  I made a video.

Enough, already.

Published on March 6, 2011 by in TheBlog

I know by talking about him I’m only feeding the medias latest obsession, but god damn am I getting tired of hearing about Charlie Sheen.  His diatribes and nearly infinite number of Sheen memes have become the sand that fills the space in a cup of rocks. That was a messed up metaphor. I actually

Avenue.

Published on January 19, 2011 by in TheBlog

It’s not very often that I’m harsh in my own space.  In quick hindsight, that’s probably a bit ironic given that a blog is a personal web space where you can vent.  Then again, I also know that people I know will might read this. Continuing on. If you haven’t read my fat-ist anti-fat rant

Unifying the Fragmented

Published on October 8, 2010 by in TheBlog

I’m now also writing at ValidateThis! You can check out my inaugural post here. This provides me with an easy segue. I can only speak for myself here, and it may simply be because of my age, but the Internet community has gone to TheSucking. Delivery methods like Facebook and Twitter (both of which I

Validate This! w00t!!

Published on October 7, 2010 by in TheBlog

Yes.  I said E/N.  Remember that?  I betcha you don’t.  I digress. Validate This! is back!  In case you’re new–it’s an open forum blog community.  Some of my favorites are already there (Joey Michaels, Dink).  Usually some entertaining reads to be found there.  Go.  Enjoy. Also, I think I’m going to try for the clichéd

It’s Wednesday. You know what that means.

Can’t find the luggage But I can feel it tugging Anchored to the ground It’s rather coincidental when in my Twitter feed a friend of mine posted how his coffee didn’t seem to be working. I’m now close to finishing my normal allotment of coffee and I’m feeling pretty much the same way. I try
