It really is easy to neglect things when you have a new passion (you know I’m talking about Kerbal Space Program). I’ve cast aside so many things these past few days–and I’ve liked it. What’s more entertaining is watching other people get hooked on this same passion. A friend has been knee deep in “The Wheel of Time” novel series, normally reading some pages while enjoying his lunch. As of Monday the books have been put down, and now he sits at his desk and gets his fix. Just awesome.
Just hit up a random blog post idea generator and it suggested “the worst ways to die.” How bleak. It is Devil’s Night though.. so what the hell. I think being “spaced” would be right up there but the chance of which being highly unlikely for a while yet. Closest alternative to that would probably be drowning, yet somehow I don’t think it would even compare.
I think if I were a bond villain, I’d want a pit of acid that I’d slowly dip my adversary in. Starting with the feet, dipping one centimetre per minute. I’ll leave the sharks with frickin’ laser beams strapped to their foreheads to other wannabe baddies.
This topic reminds me of one of the classic nerd questions that came from our office today. ”If you could have either the ability to fly, or to become invisible, which would you choose?” I had flashbacks of Mallrats when that question surfaced. We may be an HR nightmare at our office, but at least we’re honest about things.
TheWife™ is contemplating going back to school. I’m all supportive of it. It’ll be weird though, since that will technically make us both students in our thirties.
And to attach a completely off topic but fun image, I present to you, THIS!
